You learn lots of useful and fun things and make loads of friends!!!!" - James Preston, Explorer Scout                                                                                   "I loved going to scouts on a friday evening, and explorers gave me friends all over the country. All members of the Scout sections. The annual st Georges day parade is next Sunday (27/04/2008) in Bramhall.

We expect a good turn out from the Scout and Explorers and there are very few acceptable excuses for absence.

Explorers: Be there, no exceptions, smart FULL uniform, if you dont have the blue scout trousers then black school trousers are the only acceptable alternative. Polished black shoes and the district necker if you have one. if not then the Norbury necker should be worn. all uniform to be clean and ironed. This is our first district parade as a unit lets make it a good turn out.

Alright guys, as usual this is typical Flint last minute but ive just been invited to abseil 140ft from the roof of the manchester velodrome to the floor in the centre and all the Explorers, older scouts (12+) and Leaders are invited to take part too. We need to raise £500 as a group for the Royal School for the deaf and communiation dissorders, but this can be paid up to a month after the event. please get back to me ASAP because i have to get the names to the organisers. I will have to pay a deposite of £25 for each person who says they are taking part but i can reclaim this from the sponsorship money if you take part. the event will only last an hour and family and friends are welcome to come and watch. Any Explorers who come will be invested into the group at the event.
